Ryan and his team were professional from start to finish. Being new to mediation I have to say it was a slight shock to my system and I do praise the team for the position they place themselves in, as it is no easy task. To be impartial at all times when dealing with emotional parents takes resilience and patience, which is what Ryan and his team demonstrated throughout. I would certainly recommend using their services.

Case study

Greg and Tina have over many years tried to resolve their differences relating to child arrangements and assets and finances through their divorce. They have tried to negotiate through family solicitors and barristers during this time and have worked really hard to reach a resolution but unfortunately hadn’t reached an agreement.

Greg initiated a mediation service but unfortunately Tina declined the invitation to mediation.

After some time and a bill of over £65,000 for court and solicitor fees, Tina sought mediation. Greg accepted the mediation invitation. We carefully spaced out a series of mediation sessions.

The mediator understood that it was important for these clients to have the time to digest their decisions and if they wanted to – to receive legal advice.

The mediation gathered pace quite quickly and in less than 3 months both clients had not only managed to agree arrangements for the children that they trialed over the 3 month period they also managed to reach an agreement on their financial settlement. They did this for just under £1,000 each and considering the complexity of the case achieved agreement quickly and amicably.

It is important to note that both Tina and Greg had rarely communicated with one another over the period in which they had separated. Whilst both were apprehensive they were presently surprised that they managed to come to an agreement which worked for them both.

Access Mediation Services is an award winning service being recognised for being the best provider of alternative dispute resolution when utilising mediation.
